Roof Coatings
Silicone roof coatings are a type of protective layer applied to roofs to enhance their durability and longevity.
These coatings are made from a blend of silicone polymer and other additives, creating a seamless and flexible membrane that adheres to various roofing materials.
One of the primary benefits of silicone roof coatings is their exceptional resistance to UV radiation, extreme temperatures, and weathering.
They provide excellent waterproofing properties, preventing leaks and water damage.
Silicone coatings are highly reflective, reducing heat absorption and energy consumption, thus contributing to lower cooling costs.
They are also resistant to mold and mildew growth.
Silicone roof coatings require minimal maintenance and can be applied without intrusive equipment or large crews on-site, providing minimal disruption to your operations.
Silicone coatings offer an effective and cost-efficient solution for protecting roofs while increasing their lifespan.
What is a Silicone Roof Coating?
If your roof is a candidate for a roof coating, it can save you up to half of the price of a costly replacement. Not to mention there is no huge mess, and no interruption of business activities, so your tenant can continue their normal operations while the project is underway.
Roof coatings are a fantastic way to extend the life of your roof without the cost of removal and replacement. Ask us for an inspection to see if your roof is the right fit for a roof coating!

Restoration Over Replacement
Coating a modified bitumen roof with a silicone coating is a great way to ensure its durability and longevity.
First, the roof surface needs to be thoroughly cleaned and any loose debris removed - this is done by power washing or power brushing.
Next, a primer is applied to enhance adhesion between the roof and the silicone coating, and also prevent the asphalt or tar from bleeding color onto the white silicone.
Once the primer is dry, the silicone coating is carefully spread evenly across the entire roof surface to a chosen thickness. This can be done by sprayer or manually rolled on.
